Mini-Christmas bazaar to be held

The little ol' ladies in tennis shoes are ready for the Aransas County Medical Services Inc. 2008 mini-Christmas Bazaar Saturday, Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Enterprise Boutique.

Gathering by some of the many items to be sold are, from left, Earlene Willett, workshop and bazaar chair; EMT J.J. Chico; Jennie Duggan, committee member since September 1975; EMT Neva Laskowski; and Dorothea O'Neill, ACMSI committee president. Items available for purchase include Christmas items, bakery items, collectibles, jewelry, knick-knacks, afghans, gifts, linens, books, magazines, and much more. There will be items in a baby boutique and a children's corner as well.

All proceeds benefit the Aransas County EMS.

" Fascinating! So these 2 guys have developed computer models that are better than all the models and efforts of the 1000s of climate scientists working on this over the last 30 years? Amazing. Especially since neither of them have any apparent background in climate science!
Instead of presenting this to the scientific world in a peer reviewed journal, these guys publish it in this book in an attempt to sway public opinion. I could go on as many of the statements in this article are misleading, or blatantly ludicrous. Suffice it to say, it looks to me like this book is much more about influencing public opinion than any scientific review of whether human activity is causing climate change.
It is sad some people will believe this as fact. "
