BUCKNER

Clara Buckner
... Feb.16, 1918 - Sep. 6, 2008 ...
Clara lived in Houston for 53 years with her loving husband, Ed.

After his death, she enjoyed eight happy years with her youngest daughter, Barbara in Humble. She then divided her time between staying with Barbara and her daughter, Janie and son-in-law, Jim in Rockport. Clara is also survived by her granddaughter Robin Kiel and her husband, Kevin and their three beautiful daughters, Kristin, Kori and Kaley.

When she went to Gulf Pointe Plaza for the next year and eight months she quickly called it her home. She was treated like family by everyone at the home. She had a quick smile for everyone from the wonderful ladies in the kitchen to the loving aides who helped her dress and bathe. The entire nursing staff made sure she took all the medications that kept her feeling well.

Many thanks also, to everyone at the dialysis center in Aransas Pass who helped her through the trying times that all dialysis patients have.

Harbor Hospice was there to keep her comfortable in her last few days.

Clara will be laid to rest beside her husband in Houston.
