Books approved for law library
The Aransas County Commissioners Court approved a request for $2,603 in law books for the law library.
Aransas Area Bar Association president Steve Fischer pointed out the budget to purchase books has been reduced by more than 50 percent, as residents can go online to www.aransasbar.org, which links to all state statutes as well as legal forms.
Aransas County commissioners agreed due to the fact purchasing complete sets of law books has become too expensive, and many volumes are never used.
Fischer said the new books which are being purchased should arrive in about eight weeks. Topics which will be covered in those books are family, criminal, real estate and probate law, with additional volumes for employment law, debtors and creditors, education, and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department issues.
Fischer said, “When the books arrive we will have clearly surpassed the San Patricio County Law Library at a small fraction of the cost. We plan to have the best law library in the region within three years and the costs will be completely covered by filing fees, not by the taxpayers.”

Instead of presenting this to the scientific world in a peer reviewed journal, these guys publish it in this book in an attempt to sway public opinion. I could go on as many of the statements in this article are misleading, or blatantly ludicrous. Suffice it to say, it looks to me like this book is much more about influencing public opinion than any scientific review of whether human activity is causing climate change.
It is sad some people will believe this as fact. "
