Obituaries for July 23, 2008
Florence Mabel Moreira, 84, passed away Friday, July 18, 2008.
She is survived by two daughters, Margaret (Rodney) Light of Rockport, and Shirley Wackenfeld of Aransas Pass; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and one sister.
A Memorial service will be held Friday, July 25 at 7 p.m. at Victory Chapel Church.
Martin Mario Rodriguez, 43, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008. He was born March 1, 1965 in Fulton. He was a lifelong resident of Rockport.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother. He is survived by three brothers, Juan T. Rodriguez, Jesus T. Rodriguez and Mario (Lavetta) Rodriguez Jr., all of Rockport; five sisters, Yolanda Hernandez of Austin, Elva (Randy) Ramagos of Ingleside, Maria Teresa Rodriguez, Sylvia Rodriguez and Mary Alice Rodriguez, all of Rockport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, July 22 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Internment followed at Rockport Cemetery.
