Myra Kline, branch manager for the Rockport Branch, said, “We've had a wonderful reception from the community. First Victoria's reputation as a friendly bank, focusing on the needs of the people and the communities in which we serve, as well as our pool of experience and expertise in all of the various fields of banking has paved the way for a welcome response.”

First Victoria is the second oldest independent bank in the state of Texas, established in 1867, and currently has offices in Taft and Corpus Christi in the Coastal Bend as well as Port Lavaca and Victoria where they have three branches. With tradition paving the way for the future, First Victoria is still directed by members of the pioneer ranching families which laid the foundation, not only for First Victoria, but for much of South Texas, many of these families having ties to our Coastal Region.
